3/18/08.  LouHIE's working DRAFT Business Plan 07-08  for the Health Record Bank of Greater Louisville is now available for review and comments.  Also,  please plan to attend a live demo of Kansas City's health record banking technology on March 19th at 2:00 at Greater Louisville Medical Society (courtesy of Cerner).  

1-5-07.  The Research 2007 Report is now ready for distribution.  The business plan is delayed pending resolution of state business plan.

12-13-07.  The business plan approval is being delayed to provide time to integrate with the State's e-health business plan, which is still under development.  The next LouHIE board meeting is January 9, 2007 at 3:30 PM at GLMS. 

11-1-07.  A draft business plan and research report is to be presented to the LouHIE board today at 3:00.  A four week process of input and feedback will then occur including all board committees.  A final plan will be voted on in a special Board meeting on Wed Nov 28 at 8:30 AM.  The plan will be presented to the community in a special event on Monday December 3, starting at 3:00 PM.  

8-22-07. The Greater Louisville e-Health Survey 2007 officially launched today.   A press release was distributed nationwide and in Louisville and Kentucky. Area employers, healthcare organizations, government organizations and consumers plus national health information product and service firms are invited to take the survey.  

8-20-07.  Pre-launch testing of the Greater Louisville e-Health Survey 2007 began today.  A press conference announcing the official launch of the survey is scheduled for Wed, 8-22-07 at 10:00 AM at Greater Louisville Medical Society in Louisville.

8-20-07.  The board-approved Noblis Project Charter is now available, showing the Noblis facilitated research and business planning process through year-end 2007.

6-27-07.  LouHIE is pleased to announce that Noblis, Inc., a nonprofit science, technology and strategy organization that helps clients solve complex scientific, systems, process and infrastructure problems in ways that benefit the public, has been selected to develop the business plan for LouHIE.   Learn More.  

3-3-07.  LouHIE invites its members to a special presentation on 3-21-07 at 2:00 PM:  "Exploring an opportunity for Louisville to be a pilot site benefiting from a $35 - $100 Million annual investment in open-source health information exchange infrastructure. Learn More 

2-2-07. LouHIE's 2007 development process took another step forward today with the launch of our Business Plan Development Process.  Learn More.

12-6-07  LouHIE's first community-wide forum held December 5, 2006, 4:00 - 6:00 PM was a great success, with a standing room only crowd of over 230.   The presentation itself is now available for viewing. Click here.
